It has been such a long summer! The temperatures here were way above normal all season. It was 90 degrees most of the time, and just too hot to function, or cook indoors! I broke my ankle at the beginning of June. I had to stop working, since my job involved driving, and stop working out.. Which meant, no weight loss.
Now that my ankle is healing, I'm back to working out; with a ton of modifications. I've been doing the 21 Day Fix with BeachBody and having amazing results with it. I'm down 20 lbs in the past month.. I only have one week left of this program and then I'm moving onto P90X3. I truly love P90X3. It's short, so I can get in a workout after the littles go to bed. And I just love anything to do with strength training!
It's been two years since I lost the weight doing HcG diet, and then gained it back continuously. My body just wouldn't let me lose weight after that. Now that I'm finally able to let go of weight again, I'm doing it right. It takes a lot longer this way, but I feel so good! In combination with P90X3 is weight watchers. I eat good healthy food and can still have little bits of what I love here and there in moderation.
When I try to go cold turkey with nothing I love, I do great for about a week or two, and then.... I BINGE.. I binge big time, and gain back all of what I lost, all because I deprived myself way to much. You have to be able to balance it all out, because in real life, there is parties, there is occasions where you need to grab something fast, and I don't want to mess up all my efforts when those times come.
I'll be posting more now that I'm finally back to it after this summer craziness, and include some recipes and all that good stuff!
